From where I started to where I ended up... I'll take it!
When I was a freshman in high school, I was 4 foot 11 inches tall and
weighed 90 lbs!
When I graduated, I was still only 5 foot 8 inches tall and 140 lbs.
I didn't even start as a senior in high school, and yet I played in the
Big Leagues....

I played 14 years of professional baseball, including 11 years in AAA
(winning 5 MVP minor league awards and 4 rings)!
I got over 1,600 minor league hits and 4 big league hits, two with the
Indians in 1990 and two with the Mets in 1992.

Now Let's Talk Some Hitting
If you asked me what one thing destroys baseball players more than anything
else, my answer would be the batting average-- hands down!
If I wrote the word CONFIDENCE on a chalkboard and gave you a list of
10 things that create it, the batting average would be at the very
bottom holding the whole list up.
In high school baseball you might get 10 at-bats a week and in college
you may get 15. If you're lucky enough to play professional baseball,
you are getting 5 at-bats a day every day, 7 days a week. All of a
sudden, we've only played 6 games and we're 3 for 30 and so screwed up
mentally we're calling every hitting guy in the world to fix us
including our little league coach.

Then on day two, we start beating ourselves up because now we're 0 for
8 and find ourselves in panic mode.
We cannot have our batting average be our goal anymore when we can do
everything right and go 0-4!

About Steve Springer
steve_springer_autograph- Steve Springer is the performance
coach for the Toronto Blue Jays providing guidance and instruction on
the team's mental approach. Though Steve Springer did not start on his
high school team he was eventually able to compile over 1600
professional hits while playing for over 14 years as a professional He
has 28 years in professional baseball as a baseball player, agent and
scout.
Spring's baseball background includes not only starting for his high
school team in Huntington Beach, CA but battling to win a spot to play
locally at Goldenwest College. During Steve's freshman year in college,
at the age of 19, he only got three at bats.
Between Spring's freshman and sophomore year, he grew four inches and
as a 20 year old received a full ride to the University of Utah. In
1982, Steve Springer was drafted by the New York Mets in the 20th round
of the major league baseball draft.
Spring played in 14 minor league seasons as a professional with a short
stint in the MLB and compiled over 1600 professional hits. He has
followed this with 12+ years in professional baseball as a baseball
player, agent and scout.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
